P0341 code refers to a problem with the camshaft position sensor (CMP) signal on Bank 1. It could be that the signal coming from the CMP is not matching, not within the expected range, or not timed properly with the crankshaft position sensor’s (CKP E61, I ended up cutting off whatever the one way valve at the end of the tubing was (being that it was totally clogged) and extending the drain hose further down with some larger diameter water hose. At its original position it is very difficult to reach, now I can reach it from the wheel wells and burst some compressed air through it from time I had to replace my DLP when I noticed a few of the SiriusXM channels would not tune in, I picked one up off eBay for like $60, I think it actually came off a E60. The part #'s were the same and I didn't have to do anything other than call Sirius and have them re-register the tuners code to my subscription. Also my car already came with the alarm so can't help much there. I don't thin you need to code it, from what I gather our cars came prewired for the alarm and depending on the buyer they would ask for the alarm brain to be installed, aka keyless entry. The only think I played with the alarm was to sync the module and the remote. The voltage will drop to 8V or so, from 12.5V, assuming a charged healthy battery. The internal battery resistance is therefore (12.5-8)/200 = 22.5mOhms. Every 0.5V change in charge voltage therefore could add 0.5V/0.0225 = 22A to the charge current. That is why I said 0.5V change is a big deal. I took a look at it few weeks ago and the worm gear and the other gear looks brand new. This step differs among BMW models, but usually requires removing phillips heads screws like shown on the E61 touring wagon. Remove the underfloor (rear) belly pan from the bottom of the car.
